This final boss version is the best one because you're actually confronting Dark Gaia face-to-face, the HD version had some hitting the snakes thing and then constant QTEs Hope they consider a remake mixing both versions, the HD version is amazing overall but the Egg Dragoon and Dark Gaia fights were better in the PS2 version (because you had the control the whole time), and the Gaia temples were really fun, it was nice collecting the medals so you could get extra lives, concept art or music in those small platforming sections within the Gaia temples.

frick this goddang fight man. It’s bad enough that the way erazor djinn swings his sword can throw me off guard sometimes but trust me there are more that makes this fight annoying. For starters which way Erazor djinn swings his sword is completely random and you’re gonna wanna hope to get rings when they appear otherwise you can’t take damage from anything. And don’t even get me STARTED on the attack where it’s timing button presses and shaking the Wii remote correct. You only have a very tiny window like less than half a second and you’re gonna wanna hope to time it correctly otherwise you’ll automatically take damage from him. And you better pray to god that you get a lot of rings because that crap goes so fast. And you may be asking me “well why not just use time break?” Well because the timing for time break is almost the same time window as without using time break and the timing is still very tight even with time break. But you need to have a lot of rings. And if you dodge some of his attacks and you jump high enough to be able to do a homing attack on him you’re gonna wanna try to get as MUCH damage on him as you can. It only took me 10 to 20 attempts to beat him.

Chao In Space 2 still holds up to this day.
